How Subaru’s 2024 WRX TR Is Upping the Ante on Performance  | Schomp Subaru

Greater performance and handling with beefed up brakes and suspension – and a manual transmission? Subaru enthusiasts are saying “Yes, please!” to the 2024 Subaru WRX TR, introduced recently at Subiefest Florida (Florida? Really?). Aggressive stance, broad front hood scoop, integrated low-profile rear spoiler, compact headlights and rear taillights  that Subaru says “are designed to glow with a look reminiscent of volcanic magma.”

The Subaru WRX TR retains its six-speed, manual transmission 2.4-liter turbo BOXER® engine with 271hp  and 258 lb-ft of torque. With the control that a manual transmission provides, the WRX TR continues to be a perfect rally car candidate, but it’s also perfect for weekend fun driving.
