We’re excited to kick off this year’s Subaru Share the Love Event! This is Subaru’s largest sales promotion of the year, and it lasts all the way through January 2, 2020! 

During the Subaru Share the Love Event, every new vehicle purchased or leased results in a $250 donation to one of 6 deserving charities chosen by you, the purchaser or lessee. Depending on which initiative you most relate with or want to support, you make the decision which organization the money will benefit. Four of the charities are national foundations chosen by Subaru. The other two are local Hometown charities chosen by Schomp Subaru that go towards making an impact in our immediate community.

This year, Schomp has chosen Arapahoe Community College Foundation and Young Americans Center for Financial Education as our local Hometown charities. We decided to benefit these two organizations because they fit well with our company’s own charitable organization, Schomp SPARK. The goal of Schomp SPARK is to sustain and support the communities where we live and work. We focus on children’s initiatives, specifically having to do with wellness and education. With education as one of the three core pillars of Schomp SPARK, these two organizations are good fits for the Share The Love Program.

Since opening its doors in 1965, Arapahoe Community College (ACC)  has helped more than a quarter of a million students Move Mountains. Every year our Foundation awards over $500,000 in scholarships to students. We recognize that today’s students have the power to change the world and you have the power to help. It is estimated that 95% of Arapahoe Community College students will remain in Colorado – filling important jobs in health care, law enforcement, computer specialties and a host of other critically needed occupations that affect our lives every day. Your investment in the Arapahoe Community College Foundation makes a huge difference not only in the life of a student and their family but in our community as a whole.

To grow up financially responsible, Colorado youth need to know personal finance and business. Young Americans Center for Financial Education (31 years) partners with 450 schools statewide in the hands-on, real-life Young AmeriTowne so kids of every background learn how to earn, make and manage money wisely.

The four national charities that Subaru designates are Meals on Wheels, National Park Foundation, the ASPCA, and the Make a Wish foundation. These four charities have benefited greatly at a national level from the Share The Love Sales event throughout its history.
