Schomp Automotive Dealerships’ Sale benefiting Children’s Colorado Burn Center is returning this year. The sale was staged annually for 29 years before it was discontinued in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Over the years, Schomp has contributed almost $600,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado.
This year’s sale will be bigger than ever since our dealership group has expanded. All eight Schomp dealerships will offer a special discount from June 21 to June 29.
It’s Not Just a Sale
The Children’s Hospital Colorado sale is an emotion-driven and exciting event for us. A portion of the profits from the sale of each new and pre-owned vehicle will go to the Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center, which cares for children – like Julian, our Children’s Hospital Sale Ambassador – who have suffered severe and life-threatening burns.
The 2024 Children’s Hospital Colorado Sale is unique in several ways:
Schomp will offer extra savings beyond our already low One Price® only during this special week (excluding manufacturer’s discounts). You can contribute without purchasing at one of the convenient Donation Stations available throughout the dealership campus. Every new and pre-owned vehicle sold during the sale will result in a donation to the Children’s Hospital Burn Center. All eight Schomp dealerships participate: Schomp BMW, Schomp Honda, Schomp MINI, and Schomp Nissan in Highlands Ranch, Schomp Ford, Schomp Subaru, Schomp Mazda, and Schomp Hyundai in Havana in Aurora.
Meet Julian, Our Ambassador
Julian loved to imitate his parents when he was a toddler. One night, the pot of noodles boiling on the stove was too tempting. His mom turned away for a moment – just long enough for Julian to grab the spoon and pull the pot of boiling water and noodles down on his arm. He was rushed to Children’s Hospital Colorado, where he was treated for severe burns by the experienced burn team. They bandaged him up and determined a treatment plan. Three weeks later, Julian had a skin graft.
When he was old enough, Julian attended Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Camp, where he met other kids who had also suffered serious burn injuries. Now a junior in high school, our 16-year-old Ambassador is a whiz at robotics, participating on his school’s robotics team. Julian plans to bring some of his projects to Children’s to share with other kids and their families.
Having Fun Raising Funds
Over the years, the Annual Children’s Hospital Colorado Sale has proved popular, so we encourage you to make an appointment. Beyond its serious purpose, we do our best to make it fun for you and your whole family with food, music, local celebrity appearances, kids’ games, and displays from many of our nonprofit community partners spread throughout the week.
