October is Subaru Loves Pets Month at Schomp Subaru. We have an abundance of pet-friendly events happening where pet lovers can show their love of the brand and their furry companions.

The Subaru Loves Pets initiative is going on all month. We’re collecting new pet supplies to donate to Paws on the Ground Colorado, our pet non-profit of choice; an organization dedicated to the reduction of shelter animal euthanasia and puppy mill commerce through the promotion of adoption of rescue animals. This pet drive provides shelter supply kits for furry friends awaiting adoption. You can help by bringing in donations that will be delivered to pets in need. Help us in compiling food and treats, collars, harnesses and leashes, towels and blankets, grooming supplies, food bowls, small pet toys and cleaning supplies.

On October 20th, Schomp Subaru hosted Bark-A-Boo, benefiting Paws on the Ground Colorado. All proceeds go to support the dogs of Paws on the Ground Colorado. This event was a fun time for all ages. Attendees were getting their Halloween pumpkins from a pumpkin patch, enjoying tasty food and yummy drinks, visiting the face painting booths, hanging around for the prizes and silent auction, and getting their pictures taken with some adorable puppies in the photo booth, all for a good cause.

Subaru also established National Make A Dog’s Day on October 22. Pet owners who take a picture with the Subaru Loves Pets photo frame and share on their social account to help raise awareness around animal welfare using one of the two following hashtags #SubaruLovesPets and #MakeADogsDay! will receive a “Chewbaru Outbark” while supplies last; a Subaru Outback plush toy for your furry best friend.
