Subaru Takes a Winning Formula and Makes It Better in the 2024 Crosstrek | Schomp Subaru

We’re feeling the love for the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. This small SUV is built to tackle the city, the highway and some off-road adventures. Introduced at the recent Chicago Auto Show, it’s third generation of Subaru’s most-popular model. The 2024 Crosstrek will make its Colorado debut at Schomp Subaru this spring.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek comes in four versions – Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited.  The new Crosstrek Sport, is distinguished by some bright yellow styling touches on both interior and exterior. 

Lots of Standard Features

Here are some of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek’s high points:

Two engine variants: Base and Premium get a two-liter, four-cylinder direct-injection Boxer engine offering 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. Sport and Limited models get a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine offering 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. Standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Continuously Variable Transmission with paddle shifters on all but Base models (yeah, we know…the six-speed manual will be missed by some, but this CVT has eight transmission ratios). Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control are standard with X-Mode Traction. Snow and Dirt driving modes are standard and Sport and Limited models add Deep Snow and Mud settings, making for better off-roading. Generous 8.7” ground clearance; 17” wheels on Base and Premium trims, 18” wheels on Sport and Limited.  Standard steering-responsive LED headlights with auto high-beams, plus updated Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assistance and Collision Avoidance technology. Auto Emergency Steering to help drivers avoid under-50 mph collisions by applying the brakes and stopping the vehicle is available.  Dual-zone climate control with a new twist that will focus comfort only on occupied seats to save energy.  Upgraded infotainment technology. Base models get dual stacked seven-inch touchscreens, Premium, Sport and Limited models have the new 11.6-inch touchscreen mounted vertically controlling climate and vehicle settings. Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto but wireless on top three trims, as is Subaru’s Starlink®  connected services. Limited trim has available navigation system and Harman Kardon sound system.  Premium, Sport and Limited versions offer raised roof rails. Cargo space remains virtually unchanged, as does interior space.

How does Crosstrek drive? The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has increased torsional rigidity some new welding techniques and more adhesives provide a better-quality ride, lower interior noise and better handling.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has gotten favorable reviews since it’s Chicago introduction, including from Forbes, Redline and HotCars. Subaru has long been one of Colorado drivers’ favorite brands, so we’re betting that this 2024 Subaru Crosstrek will be a big hit when it’s available at Schomp Subaru on Havana.
