A New Subaru to Love Is Coming This Fall: The 2023 Subaru Outback

Summer will fly by leaving plenty of time for drivers to fall in love with the new 2023 Subaru Outback, which will make getting out and enjoying Colorado’s stunning autumn even easier.

The 2023 Subaru Outback is already a unique SUV and now it’s better than ever with a more rugged appearance, upgraded EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, better infotainment features, and more comfort.

The 2023 Subaru Outback offers:

Multiple trims: Base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Wilderness, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT, and Touring XT. The higher the trim, the more features are standard or available.  Two engine choices: base 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer® engine rated at 182 hp, 176 lb-ft of torque, and up to 33mpg; 2.4-liter turbo Boxer® engine rated at 260 hp, 277 lb-ft of torque getting 23 mpg city/30 mpg highway.  Lineartronic CVT has an 8-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters. Ground clearance of 8.7 inches (9.5 inches on Wilderness models) – more than many SUVs but still easy to get in and out of. Cargo floor length of 75 inches with seats folded down providing 75.6 cubic feet of cargo capacity. Standard roof rails (even stronger on Wilderness models).

Subaru Loves Technology

The 2023 Outback has the new Starlink vertical 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system (dual 7.0-inch on base model) with standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android™ Auto. Not to mention available Valet Mode, Bluetooth® handsfree phone and audio streaming, SiriusXM (4 months free). There’s also voice-activated navigation, and a revolutionary addition: What3Words– aka W3W – location technology to pinpoint locations by using just three words – helpful for finding your friends at trailheads or scenic locations.

Subaru Loves Safety

Safety is part of how Subaru shows drivers the love. The 2023 Outback is built stiffer with better crash protection that should earn it a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Other standard safety technology includes EyeSight Driver Assist features like Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, and DriverFocus™ Distraction Mitigation System. Available technology includes: Reverse Automatic Braking and EyeSight Assist Monitor with head-up display, Front View Monitor displaying a 180-degree view on the screen and Smart Rear-View Mirror with auto-dimming, compass and HomeLink®. Touring trim includes a new Wide-Angle Mono Camera. Premium trim options and above include Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist

Subaru Loves Style – and Comfort

The 2023 Subaru Outback has a restyled front end and wheel arches that confirm its ruggedness (all except the already-available Wilderness trim, which already received a more rugged styling).

Drivers will love the available power front driver’s seat with power lumbar adjustment. There are both USB-A and C ports in front and back and extra lighting in the cargo area.
