The 2024 Solterra Upgrades

The upgrades are designed to make all three trim levels (Premium, Limited and Touring) of the Solterra more comfortable, safer and nimble.

Much-improved charging with the high-capacity lithium-ion battery – 10%-80% in 35 minutes or less with an indicator that gives estimated charging time – and faster low-temperature charging. You can charge at home with either Level 1 or Level 2 charger. New Subaru EyeSight® advanced driver-assistance features, some available so far only on the Solterra. They include hands-free driving (driver supervision required!) at speeds less than 25 mph and in stop-and-go traffic; changing lanes by activating the turn signal; new Front Cross Traffic Alert to make it safer to pull into an intersection; new DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System to ensure alertness behind the wheel. Better adaptability to challenging on and off-road terrain and weather conditions with Dual-Function X-MODE® with Snow/Dirt and Deep Sow/Mud modes, and standard Active Cornering Assist and Vehicle Stability Control. Steering-wheel paddles to control the regenerative braking system.

Good, Better, Best

The 2024 Subaru Solterra brings 215 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque to the party along with best-in-class 8.3-inch ground clearance, and a range of trim levels progressively more loaded with features.

Premium Trim includes an 8-inch touchscreen, 18-inch wheels, Subaru EyeSight® technologies, AWD, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto ™, SiriusXM satellite radio (4 months free), Bluetooth connectivity, and roof rails. SUBARU SOLTERRA CONNECT™ brings a raft of vehicle services that provide more safety, remote access, Remote Climate Control, Remote Lock/Unlock, and Wi-Fi with a complimentary trial subscription. Cloud-based navigation is optional.

Limited Trim adds a 12.3-inch high-res touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and streaming, Harman Kardon® premium audio with 11 speakers, wireless smartphone charging, 20-inch wheels, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s and 8-way power-adjustable front passenger’s seats, power rear gate, heated steering wheel and more. Touring Trim adds a panoramic glass moonroof with power shade, LED footwell lighting, ventilated front seats, digital rearview mirror, camera washer, all-doors smart key access and exclusive exterior touches that include two-tone color configurations and glass black hood accent.

Subaru has always prided itself on manufacturing some of the safest vehicles on the road. The existing, 2023 Solterra was rated a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. With no design changes, the 2024 is more than likely to win the same rating.
