More than ever before, customers are valuing what brands stand for beyond the products themselves.
That’s how Forbes, the influential business publication, introduced its 2024 “Best Brands for Social Impact” list.
We were not surprised to see that Subaru is the top-rated automotive brand on the list, and #2 overall, just after REI, the outdoors outfitter. This is the second consecutive year that Subaru of America won in the Forbes rankings.
The Forbes “Best Brands for Social Impact” rankings are formulated in partnership with HundredX, which uses customer data to formulate consumer strategies for businesses. They took responses from more than 185,000 consumers about more than 3,000 brands based on Overall Brand Values and Trust, Social Stances, Sustainability, and Community Support.
“Despite recent reports of decreasing corporate and public support for companies’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, Forbes’ Best Brands for Social Impact list suggests that consumers might actually be considering companies’ efforts more than they have in the past,” Forbes’ announcement of its list said.
Subaru has built a reputation as being More Than a Car Company®, partnering with local dealerships like Schomp Subaru and myriad charitable and nonprofit organizations. Fulfilling its commitment, Schomp Subaru has collaborated with organizations like Children’s Hospital Colorado, Arapahoe Community College, Make-A-Wish Colorado, Dress for Success, The Carbon Offset Company, Youthentity and more.
